The project consists in a 4-month training course in the Rieti area, centre of Italy, for three women farmers from Lamjung District, Nepal.
The training activities will be coordinated by Prof. Manfredo Cerroni in collaboration with local farms and will be focused on the production of protein crops with organic farming practices, production and conservation of dairy products, and sustainable utilization of byproducts....
Donations will cover travel, board and lodging costs for the entire course duration as well as any incidental expenses for training purposes.
Overall, the project aims at empowering women improving and building their skills and promoting female agricultural entrepreneurship, Specifically, it is intended to train potential trainers and create the conditions to make them able to start a dairy in their home village.
